Ish!!!

I went to class early. I manage to find a good and LEGAL parking space on my first attempt. I tot it's MY day.

Sigh!!

After class, I went to took my car as my bunch of frens and I will be heading out for lunch ( as usual ). There is this bloody Kancil ( Her car is RED in color ) blocking my way out. I immediately call the no. that was stated at the note on the dashboard. The FuCKing phone was turned off.

I tried a couple of time... but with the same result. Am pissed...
Along came my bunch of tutorial frens... they happen to joke on wanting to shift the car away. I manage to take a picture of them.

Anyway.. they can't move it.. EhHE.. there are like 10 of us. Guess all of us have not eaten any thing yet...so I put a note " Please turn on your phone" at her window shield ( I said 'her' base on her car accessories).

We in the end sat on other car and head out for lunch. Until 2pm, I went back to see the damn car at the exact location.

Penny and Janelle told me to lepak at their house... until 4.

The car was parked there... this time round with a note " sorry, call this no."
I immedieatly call that no. and scolded her to remove her car.
The second time when she remove her car.

Hey! I am not being rude... I waited fr 12.30 till 4pm... I am kinda frustrated. She is being very inconsiderate.
I did not even scratch her car or anything like that.

Interview

Just got back fr a- sort of- interview.

My classmate told me there is an interview at Starbucks, Sunway Pyramid. Not much infor given, only to know the job is $500 and need gals who is above 5feet5.

I thought... oh well.. worth the shot. Just try.. $500!!. I thought it might be some show or sumthing like selling phones or launching things.

I went there late.. only to find a bunch of hot chicks there filling forms. They dress pretty good.. stylish and such... makeup are nicely done... Mind you, the guys there are practically drooling. The ppl who is sitting at Starbucks are all facing directly where the bunch of girls are instead of facing to their friends.

I manage to get the form to fill up. Only to know it's a model thingy. No wonder... all the hot chicks.

The form wanted us to state down our sizes and all, our height, marital status etc etc and experience. I was like , heck, wat experience?? I peep on other gals form. Oh wel.. I must say, most of them done lotsa walks and shows.

I put mine down - NIL.

As I hand in my details, I asked the interviewer on whats all this about. Only to find out that its a catwalk show. ArLlow?? Excuse me?? catwalk? I did not even know how to walk in a straight line. I have never been to any sort of modeling class..wat the hell am I doin there? GOsh! I wanted to leave... but heck... All the way there... might as well just finish it up.

Anyway I manage to get into the interview. This gal, I guess around my age, ask several ques :

Willing to wear skimpy cloths?
Smoke and drinks?
Willing to work at night?
Which day prefer to work?
Mind going to pubs and clubs?

( Wat kinda question is that... Cmon... just check out the question she asked... It like those mamasan asking the girls... get wat I mean)

After all is answered.. I left.
Chances of this job is NADA. I am no model material. If I should know better on what this interview thingy is all about...

Oh well, I wasted my time, carpark (RM6), petrol, my makeup,umm.. watelse... watever..

Anyway since I am in Starbucks.. How am I gonna say NO to coffee. I ordered and left with a cup of steaming hot latte at hand and left straight to my car.. sipping the coffee.
The only thing that I am glad about.

I am so addicted to coffee now....

SMSes

Guess that we’ll never be grown ups in our parents eye… never ever.

My dad… He is totally amazing. The best dad ever.. I can’t imagine how my life can be without him.

Ha!! Anyway… My dad has been sending me sms. Not just any sms… CHINESE sms! Simple conversational sms. Reason being, he wanted me to learn Chinese.

I loose out a lot on not knowing Chinese… Yeah.. I basically know how to speak but really am bad in reading it. I think I am just like Primary three standards. Sigh. I loose out a great deal.. esp on books and comics.

Oh well… my dad been msg-ing me basic chats like. Asking me what I am doing? What I had for lunch? And tell me what he is doing and so forth…
I will reply back in English answering his questions , just so to proof I can still read basic Chinese.

Weird huh!

I just received one on my way back home from gym. My mind began to wander and think… Gosh… At my age and my dad still did all this! I mean… Wat are the odds. I don’t really think a lot of parents did that to their children at my age! Maybe a handful or Z-E-r-O.

Come to think of it… I should be the one teaching my kid Chinese ( if I had one ). My Secondary classmate just gave birth to her second child and here I am receiving chinese sms from my dad.

Will I ever grow up…or should I count myself as lucky?

Ps. Had another sAndWicH Craving... this time a club sandwich! It's superbly done with crispy bacon and loads of melted cheese ... the mayo in it was amazing.. I enjoyed each and every bite of it.. and accompanied with a LaTTe.

Ha... I do not know wat come over me.

I spend the whole afternoon cleaning up my room... a major cleaning!

I wiped all the surface in my room, including those switches. I vacumm the floor, mop the floor and even clean the air-con filter. In the toilet, I scrub the floor and cleaned up the shower place. I also sanitize the toilet bowl.

I spent quite some time de-dusting my precious snowglobe as well. The best thing is that I ironed my bedsheet and my duvet cover too. I figure out since I spend more than 10 hours a day in bed. I should make it extra comfy. If those who knew me well, I RaReLy iron cloths. The cloths I wear dun really need ironing and I really hate ironing!!

Ha... Aint I a good girl today!

pLUS I manage to satisfy my craving on Turkey Ham with Cheddar on Foccacia Bread.

Somtimes when I just happen to let go my past, things just keep on appearing and haunt me.

One thing settled... another comes along.

Can't they leave me in peace. I call it quits and they still keep on contemplating the means and ends of the whole situation. What's been done is done. What's been said is said. Things just can't turn back to it's original settings.. there will be scars and scratches from the past.

I am ready to face my future and they still keeps me away from it. I had enough of the pain and tears from it. I really need a break. I do not want to crash for the second time...

*GOSH* This is so fucking tiresome

F**K it all.

Penguins

Watched "March of the Penguins" last night.

This was a wonderful documentary directed by Luc Jacquet which follows penguins traveling to their breeding ground in Antarctica.

It makes me think. The sacrifices of parents to have a child is too big a deal even to put it into words. Every journey to bring life is just too painful and vexing but worthwhile. It shows a loving ode to the life-altering ( at times life-threatening ) dedication and devotion of parents. It's a miracle.

It goes beyond words. Each scene has it's character, bringing out the whole journey of the penguin that has repeatedly done a hundreds or thousands years ago.

Blast from Past

I just wanna get on with my life... once in awhile it still haunts me.

It haunts and glooms my day.
It haunts my dreams... it haunts my concentration... it haunts my daily interaction with the world.

Can't the past just be my past. Let bygones be bygones.

My day

I was in Kinokuniya.

I was just browsing through, as I still have loads back home that I can't find time to read and not planning to pile another up in the shelf. I just can't seem to find the time for me to read. Things just keep on popping up... more important than another. Priorities goes to those that have due dates such as my assignments, my midterm, my thesis... etc etc ( which seems never ending process).

I never expected to let this particular book to caught my attention. The title of the book was "The Stolen Child". I was rather caught by the design cover and decided to read the synopsis.

My oh My, it really was interesting. The book tells the tale of the child who become one of the changlings and changeling was return to the society of humans by co-opting the identity of a kidnapped child. It's about the search of identity of the seven year old child who is abducted by a band of a dozen hobgoblins, which, in mythology, are faeries "gone bad".

I fell in love with the story.

I bought that book and went straight to Dome and order a cup of Latte. Hey.. Life is pretty good. A cup of latte, a great book and a fag or two. Wat more can I ask for!

I got more information about the book online once I got home. I found out the author, Keith Donohue find the inspiration from:

The Stolen Child, a poem by William Butler Yeats, published in 1889in The Wanderings of Oisin and Other Poems. The poem was written in 1886and is considered to be one of Yeats' more notable early poems. The poem is based on Irish legend and concerns faeries beguiling a child to come away with them.

Away with us he's going,
The solemn-eyed -
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest
For he comes the human child
To the waters and the wild
With a fairy, hand in hand
For this world's more full of weeping than he can understand

I can't wait to finish the book.. but yet.. again.. due to some midterm exam I need to study on. I have to put it on hold... but can't resist to blog it.

Not everyday one gets to find such interesting book!!!

Just my day! My Luck!
