What a coincidence.
I downloaded some songs randomly from the internet and put iTunes on shuffle mode and started to read while enjoying the music.
I was reading Wicked by . After reading a few pages, this song came up.
"We're Off to See the Wizard" Harold Arlen
This song was sung in the movie "The Wizard of Oz". It's a classic. Such a coincidence as the book I am reading is base also on Wizard of Oz. Correction. More on the witch of the west.

Glad.
I started reading again.
I've been slacking on my read. Thanks to the bundles of journals I read last semester, have had enough of it, I stopped or slow-down my reading for ages.
Thanks to Bram Stroker. I induce myself back to the fantasy and imaginary world. I love every bits of Dracula.
It's 2 am. The mocha did the trick. I am still wide awake. Just finished Louis de Bernières's "The Partisan's Daughter". It captured me. Though it's rather confusing with the two narrators in the book. I can't seem to judge if the story is from Roza or from the old man's memory in certain parts of the book. But in total, it was worth the read.

Left out fr rock climbing
I am all alone at home.
Blogging.
I recently picked up rock climbing. No. Not outdoor. Not that hardcore just yet. It's just the indoor climbing. Loved it and decided to pick up as another sport. Yey! Another thing that will occupy my time.
Unfortunately, I can't go. Not today. Not tonight.
Sulking won't help. It can't be helped. All I have to do is to wait till it's fine and well for me to resume back to my routine.

She just got married to a wonderful guy.
I realize.. how much I miss her... every moment with my friends are treasured deep inside me. I am lucky to have them. Blessed. Blessed with my loving family and friends.

SinXiaBuo
Stayed at SherPhy's place during the stay. It was all fun and fantastic, plus I manage to get my errands done. Muacks to SherPhy. Hmmm... my oneee-san.
Staying with SherPhy did bring back some old memories. Hehe... especially staying in a house where most of them are cabin crew. Sher Phy is as Sher Phy is. My sister... Ha! I keep on asking her to come over to Brissie in her future plans... but I doubt that she will come. She loves somewhere which is far far far away too much.
What makes the trip most exiting is I went for wakeboarding. For the first time! Well.. not that I am good at it... gosh.. I swallow loads of seawater, and mind you, the singapore seawater ain't that clean. But it's all worth it for the fun. Not forgetting the body aching that I suffered for the next three days. Serious body ache! That I need to lie and sleep most of the time as my whole body ache everytime I moved. So the best medicine is just to sleep and wait till all my muscles recover.
Short and sweet trip.. but advise, not to take night bus to Singapore.

ShaoYi first day of school
Correction. It's kindergarten. She is 2 years and 11 months old. Big and matured enough to face the world. Soon her innocent heart and mind will be pervaded by unpleasant chattels and need to cope with the cruel reality of the world.
Arrgghh... my dearest Shao Yi.....her pure, innocent delicate heart being contaminated with the reality of the world. I wish I can protect her forever and ever.

AirAsia to Cathay Pacific
Ha! Am lucky.
I book AirAsia flight back to Malaysia and instead have Cathay Pacific air flight back to KL. Haha!!!
I booked the flight Airasia flight a couple of months back due to it's cheap fare. It's just a trip or rather a journey to destination. If I can save more.. why not. Getting near the flight date, I found out I lost my booking number and any information that I have to check my flight status. I tried calling the AirAsia hotline but they are in the mist of shifting the call centre hub. No luck at all. So all that I can do is just keep my fingers cross that I 'DID' bought the ticket.
Anyway, when I am at the check-in counter. The lady behind the counter informed that the new airbus that was suppose to operate the flight was late in the delivery. AirAsia hired Cathay Pacific aircraft and their crew to operate the flight instead rather then cancelling the whole flight. So... I got full service and tv on board!! Ha!!!
Even so, with it. I am bored. Drank a few glasses of wine in order to force myself to sleep without any success. The flight was draggy and was delayed. Once landed in KL, the first sign that make me realise that I am in Malaysia is the heat and humidity. The next sign is the toilet in Malaysia. It's always wet!!!!! Arrgghh.... Why issit always WET!!! URgghh...
Anyway I was really tired. I just wanna get out and head back home. Dad picked me up from LCCT airport and drove me back straight Ipoh.
Head over to Tambun House and stayed the night. I only manage to get back to my old house in Alkaf the next dayand only then I trully really felt "home sweeeeettt home".

The dinner before heading back
Finally, Black Forest Restaurant was the choice made.
I heard about this restaurant since I moved to Greenslopes. Never manage to tried it till now. It's a rough 5 minutes drive away from Greenslopes. By its name itself, its shouts out "German German German".
The food is alright, but there sure is quite a lot of beer selection. German beer :D Hurray! It is quite pricey though. The main dish portion is huge and too many meat meat meat.

Bake Bake Bake
Decided to start baking since I have loads of free time before heading back Malaysia.
The baking definitely need to be done in the morning. It can get pretty hot in the afternoon in Brisbane. I hate the heat here in Brisbane. I have to admit summer is my least favorite season over here. Furthermore, the place I am renting now did not have aircondition and the sun glares strongly in the kitchen area in the the afternoon. So its a N-O to be around kitchen in the afternoon.
My parents bought me a microwave oven that includes convection and grill during their visit here. The old oven provided here is not really a good one and baking in the old oven sucks big time. So with the new oven, I decided to get back into baking. Decided to explore more and bake bake bake.

A woosh and it's December
My bad. I did not update the blog as often as I should have.
Heck! From a graduand to a graduate now. I am officially a Master graduate in communication. Ha! My parents came over to attend the ceremony and stayed for two whole weeks. :D Time flies really quick. I brought them around Brissie (not that there is much to visit). I miss them now that they are back in Malaysia. Lucky thing, I will be back soon. Another three more days, I'll be eating wanton mee and char koay teow. HahAhah!
