Some Pig, Terrific, Radiant and Humble

Yup... Watch Charlotte's Web the second time.
First time round in Singapore, during december and now again.
Did I mention about my trip to Singapore in December? Hmm.. anyway, nothing much.
The usual...
But I DO want to talk about this place at Clark Key call Brewworks. This is a place for BEER! They brew their own beer and have several kinds of it. The place is great. I will definitely drop by there again.
Another best place for a beer is Paulaner Bräuhaus, located at Time² @ Millenia Walk. Nothing beat this place. L-U-R-V-E the place. The beer is the best there and best place for happy hour too. Weissbier is definitely my choice.
Of Coz, the No. 5 Bar at Emerald Hill!!!!!!! This place is fantastic. At least to me and Shirley. I can say.. it's our frequent happy hour place. Every single time we go Orchard Road during our day off, we stop by there before we head home. The drinks are okay... but the PLACE itself! Well, it's really really a cool place. There are endless of peanuts serving and the shells, you can just throw it anywhere you want! It is a classic, unpretentious speakeasy placeis housed in a Peranakan shop house. The bar in the main room displays spirits, beers and liqueurs etc. beneath a wooden platform. Drinkers can sit on soft cushions or recline on Persian carpets. I give it a 5Star.
Gosh.. was suppose to talk about Charlotte's Web... Look where had I headed to, BEER!! ArGhh.. craving for it at this very minute (sh continue the night out).
Anyway, back to Charlotte's Web.
Again, I shed a tear or two. It's a very touching movie, at least to me. A truth and unquestionable friendship from two unlikely mix up.

Just on Books
Am reading this wonderful book by Anna Gavalda.
Book title : Hunting and Gathering (Ensemble c'est tout in French)

I really love the character, Camille. She is this fantastic painter ( works as a office cleaner) who lives in Paris and does best in making herself invisible. She have aneroxic problem but with a big warm heart. Along with her new flatmates where one of them rescued her from her old habitant ( a 7th floor tiny attic.. completely miserable). So the story is about a near-anorexic artist, a chef, his granny, and a sad-sack aristocrat - who together become something more than the sum of their parts and make for a perfect novel. Each character is distinctively portrayed, full of wry humour and razor-sharp observation.
This book is so lovely written.
It's a novel that one will not want to put down.
Anticipation
I think one of the worse thing in life is on anticipation.
Seriously.
Especially when you are alone.
Boarding a plane alone is one of the scenario. Taking a train. A bus. A ferry ride.
Seriously.
I seriously hate it. Once sitted on the designated sit and finding the sit next to you is still empty. "Who will be sitting next to me?"All sorts will be going through my head.
Mind me, Please! The person next to you is really a big issue here. My eyes will be switching from one boarder to another.. looking at their prospect and their possiblity. My mind tend to fickle, busy with thoughts.. lotsa thoughts. Non stop. I think my blood pressure was given a boost too.
Big size??... NO! (I dun wan them to take up my space too !) Muscular??... NO! Female??... YES! Thin???.. YES!! Mothers with infant??... NO!(Gosh, it's troublesome plus it's not mine) Cute??.. YES! BradPitt look-a-like??...YES! YES! Old??... Yes!( they tend to be very nice) Clean??.. YES! Dirty-looking??... NO!NO! Sleezy??...NO! Smelly??.. NO! Gays??... YES! Teenagers??... Depends.
The list can go on and on.
It's like physical inspection but then you can't chose. Let fate decide.
It's just the anticipation that is what I hate. The waiting!
Oh well, the worst I came upon is a male, fat (Ang moh)... PLUS!! he got the alcohol breath whenever he talks or even breathing heavily. The smell is the most horrible smell that can actually come out from a human being. Worse then FART. Seriously!! No joke! I think the smell will be always there for an alcoholic. Gosh!with the hours spend sitting next to one.. SIckEnInG!!
Looking on the bright side, there is always a chance that one will meet their love-of-your-life on board. I know someone did. *WiNk*

Just Simply
Got free tix to watch Last Kiss ( thanks to Grace and Penny ). They let me know about this contest in their company.. and I WON!!!
Ha... wat really caught me off guard is when the movie started to play my favorite song, "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. Ha!! It's wonderful... EhHE.. such a beautiful song.
Oh well, the movie... It's about this mid-life crisis... Yikes.. I think I need to rephrase, more like a late-twenties crisis on a bunch of guys. It kinda tell the 'real' story of the 'us'. It has everything that most people will go through... breakups, divorce, adultery,mistakes, babies, arguements, forgiveness.. etc etc.
Good movie?? I give it 6 out of 10.
I started to read again. Yup!! I finally manage to finish the 2 seasons of Grey's Anatomy and now I am back to my books. Just finish a book, titled 'Kira-kira' by Cynthia Kadohata. Kira-Kira means "glittering" in Japanese... I know, in Malay, it meant "counting". Its obviously a wonderfully written book, about this amazing girl, Lynn and her sister, Katie in Georgia. Lynn makes everything beautiful.... unfortunately Lynn becomes seriously ill. The story is narrated through Katie's eye and ear.
A very sad, realistic story with a hint of hope and a reminder there is always sth glittering ( kira-kira ) that awaits you.
My next book, Love walked in by Marisa De Los Santos. Had only started a few pages.... I know it will be another good read! I can sense it through my veins!!

Melaka
Went to Melaka for the weekend.
HA! Had fun!!! The trip was made due to my dear friend in Melaka now, Janelle Lee. I guess the whole bunch miss her.... Oh well, I do.. am sure, Penny and Grace too.
We took off after lunch ( Penny and Grace work half day on Sat ). The last time I was there was roughly three years ago to attend my ex-team girls wedding.
What really ReALlY is a SurpRIse in this trip was that I BUMP into her!! Tracy!! Gosh.. sometimes its really A SMALL WORLD!! I never thought that I will bump into her. Not a chance!! Well, she just quit flying and base in Germany now with her hubbie, Ingo. How in the HELL would I thought that I'll bump into her.. summore in a tourist area in Melaka ( it's her hometown). Gosh!!! It's really amazing!
Of Coz.. this time round, I manage to eat a lot of good fantastic superb food! Grace and Janelle brought me to all the good spots!! We stayed at those nyonya houses near Jonker Street. Pretty cool.
Gosh!! The FooD is amazing. We also went to take the trishaw.. do all those tourist stuff. Went to the mystic musuem. CoolZ.. Saw toyol and lotsa weird and bomoh stuff. Watelse... hold on to a albino snake... Umm.. chat.. talk.. laugh... No! Din make it to the Melaka Zoo. I so wanted to... but we are too tired and we decided to head back KL.
My sincere thanks to Janelle, Penny and Grace... for such a fun, great time.

No doubt about the fact that I am so engross with Grey's Anatomy. It's really mind blowing. Ha!! Yup.. the 'Nazi' is real ass-kicker! She got the UmMph. Her sarcasm.. GosSH! Me LiKEY!!!
Oh well, what did really happen was that it really kick into me about some stuff. One of the episode ( I forgot which one ), Meredith did her usual voice over in the beginning of the episode quoted a very, very useful statement.

I was really terrified. I was so in my comfort zone. I have been taking my own sweet time to look for jobs. I obviously had not been looking hard enough. Frankly, I have actually loads to do! There is an essay that I need to write, some questions that needed to be answered, some mails to post for application and more job search that I could have done... and I did NoTHinG!
I am just lazy! Hey!! worse... this time round.. there is no deadlines. I am not a student anymore.. no deadlines for assignments. No one to pressure me... and hell let loose. I LAZE! Seriously, I need to boost up my own initiative ( which I am seriously lacking of ).
Guess what did? GREY'S ANATOMY!!
I will start tomorrow! Yeah... I know it's contradicting to the quote, but Hey! I got a night out today. So, literally speaking, I am not free today, which means I have to leave it for tmrw!! So I'll start tomorrow... and N-O! I won't watch the show until I finish what I am suppose to do.

Work?!
I started to look for jobs now.. I mean, naturally, since I graduated. I suppose it's the next thing to do. That is unless, I get married to a rich husband with 10 maids and a nanny so I can start my share in the heirloom and then.. just play mahjong till I am old.
So.. anyway, back to the real world. I F***ing hate it. The interviews, the never ending of filling up forms, the waiting, the questions, the anticipating... and it goes on and on.
Worse still.. the pay!!! Not to mention the ANNUAL LEAVE!!!
DAmn!! Cmon!! The pay already is way way too lil. How can I survive!! Not to mention on the Leave!! How can I go for holidays!! HOW!!! 14 days of annual leave.. Gosh!!
One interviewer told me to expect myself working monday till friday, fr like 9.30 am till 10pm for more then half a year. DAMN!! I am still single... how am I gonna get any DATES!! ( not that I have any now ) but STILL!! It's so unfair!!!
Gosh!! How am I gonna survive with that WEENY pay and the LIL offdays!!!

Life is cruel.. but then.... what's life without any obstacles. Maybe it will turn out alright. I am really keeping my fingers cross here. I really hope I'll manage to find a suitable job for me.

A GOodDay It WAS!!!!
Ha!!!
Had an AmaZinG and WondeRfUL day yesterday.
It's just that its been quite awhile since I had so much laughter.. so carefree and what the heck.. I can be myself.. TOTALLY.
I went to my dad's office late in the morning to help out and then head out for lunch with my Form six classmates. We had an amazing time. We chat and chat.. will late in the evening. It's just superb. I miss them so much... Kuan Yee happily married with 2 healthy and lovely kids, Mee Yee and her beloved, Sher Phy.. there is so much to catch up on.
Later that nite, I met with Bin and gang. This is kinda a new place in Ipoh. The wine bar is pretty cool. I really like the environment there.. not too loud.. good atmosphere.. and guess what.. girls and wine!! We had a blast.. talking aoubt babies to marriage and last but not least, SEX! HAhA.. It's been quite some time since I such a good day!
AND I have not even finish yet... the CALL!! The call I have been waiting for my job application. The one that I am hoping them to call.. DID call! HeHE.. had a brief interview on the phone. HuREaay.. I'll be off to KL tmrw for the InterView!!!

Oh boy.. wat a good day I had yesterday.. that is, I do not count on the the lack of sleep. I was awake until 5am. I could not sleep awake.. Luckily to end my day, Shirley, my dear old pal, was online.. we manage to chat until 3 or 4am. I was getting bit cranky in the head by then.. but just could not sleep .. not even a WINK!!!Oh well.. for such an amazing and wonderful day.. hehe.. I dun MInd!! Not at all.

Gym
Went to gym today. Yeap... finally! Have not work out for like a month.
Yet AGAIN! I forgot to bring a padlock for the locker. Seriously, I do not know why the gym I go give the customers such a hard time. We just wanted to work out.
I dun even shower there ( find it kinda dirty.. anyway my rack is like nearby, why do I need to shower there... when I can shower in my own private toilet). So practically the locker is just for my handbag and nothing else!
So practically, everytime I'll need to buy a new padlock at the counter. Damn! It cost like RM10. I mean... it's just a lame cheat. I mean... I am sure there are loads of people who forgot to bring the padlocks along to the gym. So they must be making quite a lot of at the booth there.
To those who is gonna sign up for gym... please.. check out those inconvenienced that would cause you unecessary nuisance!!
The work out is not that satisfying either. Ish.. there is this LOud and AnNOying gal who apparently works there ( She's new.. have not seen her around). She was WAY WAY loud.. and her pretentious slang! Gosh.. I can't stand her. I was working out at the far corner and I could actually heard her talking with another gal, despite the music PLUS my iPod was tune to the loudest. Should I complain to the managment? Hmmm...
Nah.. my coming back to the gym is not a good welcome though my body needs the exercise. Chinese New Year is coming... that means plenty of food!! HAhA..

Tourguide in Ipoh
Back from HongKong... catch a cold... Now back in Ipoh.
It's getting more and more hectic.. I can't even find time for my own! I have not been reading for quite some time now... hmm... and tomorrow I'll be going to Cameron Highlands!! YEY!! I have not been to Cameron for a long, long time.
The reason I'm back Ipoh is basically because of my mum's long time frens, where they did their nursing courses back in London, are in town. We brought them around and suggested to go Cameron for the weekend... esp I have not been there.. Hmm.. should be fun.
I have not been updating my blog.. hehe.. the Raub and Genting trip, the HK trip and etc etc.. So I might as well just post the most recent once eh ?!
Nahhh.. have not even start looking for job just yet. Refuse to face the reality. Am still having a good time... and hopefully I will get to go Taiwan next week ( or issit the following week?) with my dad for his business trip, while me and mum will be a leisure one... keeping my fingers cross.

My dad bought a house there.. and wanna show Uncle Robert the design and stuff ( they bought a summer house in Setiawan.. still under renovation and wanted to get more ideas ). FReeEEee as A Bird... and busy like a Bee... Nah! Not for the Honey... but for the FUN!
I went Genting and Raub with my dear classmates. The trip was amazing and lotsa Funs!!!
After that trip, I went back Ipoh with a bad sore throat with an ulcer on the throat... *sIgh*
Head back to KL, bring Shirley, Erik and Gustav around KL ( Gustav first time to Asia ).
Tag along to Singapore with my parents to see the Flower Exhibition in Suntec City and shop around ... HAhah... got my First Mulberry bag there!! HurrRaY!!
And here I am... Still not finish yet!! Xmas is coming... New Year is Coming.. HongKong is coming... and maybe Aussie too!!

Catching up with the Zaa Zaa Szu feeling

I met up with my dearest friend... FInaLly!!!
I miSsed Her SO So SooOo very very MUCH!!!!
Gosh! I am so keen to see her... on my way to OneU, I actually had the Zaa ZaA SzU! You know, the butterflies feeling in the stomach when you are anxious or extremely exited... and I thought it could only happen to .. err... such as first dates, interviews, blah blah blah.... but definitely NOT with best friend!!
(mind you, I have not seen her more than two years or less )
Ha... ! Shirley oh! Shirley! Beautiful and stunning as ever... that's my Shirley.
We talked and talked and talked. Arghh.. there is endless catching up to do. She talks about her life, gossips, etc etc. I talked about mine... suddenly, I felt so shallow. I wonder, what the hell have I been doing this past 3 years. *sIgh* I felt that I learned nothing, gained nothing, experienced nothing.. worse... I find myself worthless.

Anyway, the meet up was a short one. She'll be heading to BKK for a couple of days and till then!!! YEy!!!! I will be totally hers!

Classmates
I was browsing on my hp's photos ( Yup... wat ever excuses I can get so that I would not need to study ).
The reason me blogging this post is dedicated totally to JPG. Those three lil bugger had totally perk up my life.. especially this year. HehEh.. I had lots of fun and laughter with them. I wonder what would my uni life be without them...*EeKss* Give me the cold shivers even thinking about it.
Firstly, they will always keep me inform with all the going-ons in class. I am blur in uni.. never know what's going on, whether class been canceled or whether my library books are way overdue, and esp on the notes that was past around to class. The most important, helping me to sign the attendance. Gosh, I would not even be able to graduate this year with the amount of classes I skipped if not for them!
Oh well.. the list will go on and on.
Other then that, hehe... there is always my temper that they need to deal with. Sorry ler... I know sometimes, or rather 'MOST' of the time, my temper is really unbearable and the JPG can still take it with total patience. Thanks a million. HuGs and MuaKz!!! You guys the Best... Luv Ya!
There are many more... but this one is worth mentioning, the number of time we went out for YumChar!!! HAHAhHA.. the talks, the stupidness, the lame jokes, the simply nothings... etcetc make it A billion Somethings.
We will be graduating soon. Each and everyone will be heading seperate ways. Fear not, I am sure we will have a pact or sumthing... and will continue the stupidness, laughter, the lame jokes, the gossips till god knows when.
